I am a fully qualified and accredited Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA). My training was with the Building Research Establishment (BRE).

My accreditation as a DEA is with BRE Certification Ltd and my accreditation number is BREC200166. In addition to my Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment, I have also achieved a Diploma in Home Inspection. 

I carry out energy assessments of residential property in order to produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs). I cover an area of approximately 50 miles radius from Oxford. This includes all of Oxfordshire, and parts of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. 

An EPC is required when you market a property for sale (in England & Wales).

An EPC is required for all rental properties (in England & Wales). It needs to be available for all new leases.

Once an EPC is issued for a property it has a life of 10 years before it needs to be replaced.
